Clinton Barnard, a 33-year-old resident of Ironton, lost his life in a tragic motorcycle accident on State Route 522 in Scioto County. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening around 6:26 p.m., when Barnard reportedly lost control of his motorcycle and collided with an oncoming truck.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Barnard sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Following the accident, emergency responders from the Green Fire Department and Green EMS assisted at the location, but the road was temporarily closed for the investigation and has since been reopened.
