Fatal Lawrence County motorcycle crash death of Jess H. D. Pinkerton – Obituary
Jess H. D. Pinkerton was identified as the motorcyclist who tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on US Highway 14A on Sunday, October 27. The incident occurred approximately six miles south of Spearfish, where Pinkerton, riding a 2015 Kawasaki motorcycle, was heading northbound near mile marker 17 when he veered off the roadway. He went over an embankment and into a creek, becoming separated from his motorcycle during the fall.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash, and preliminary details are still emerging as authorities work to determine the exact cause of the incident.
