Fatal Portland incident death of Vincent A. Buttafuoco – Obituary.
Authorities have confirmed the identity of human remains discovered in northeast Portland on August 25 as Vincent A. Buttafuoco, a 49-year-old man from the area. The remains were located near Northeast Fremont Street and Northeast 105th Avenue.
Initially, due to the condition of the remains, it was unclear whether the deceased was male or female. Following further investigation, the Portland Police Bureau announced Buttafuoco’s identity. The cause of his death remains under investigation, and the case is still open.
