Fatal Medina County crash death of Mark McGraw – Obituary

A tragic collision on I-71 in Medina County resulted in the deaths of two individuals on the night of October 31. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred around 10:12 p.m. in Westfield Township.

According to officials, a Volvo commercial vehicle traveling southbound became disabled in the right lane. Shortly after, a 2018 Chevrolet Trax, driven by 53-year-old Mark McGraw from West Salem, collided with the Volvo. An unidentified third vehicle, described as a maroon or red commercial truck, also hit the disabled Volvo but fled the scene.

Both McGraw and the driver of the Volvo, identified as 68-year-old Daved Brown from Cincinnati, were pronounced dead at the site of the accident. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are seeking information regarding the hit-and-run vehicle.
