A tragic two-car accident east of Branson on Thursday resulted in the death of a local man. The Missouri State Highway Patrol identified the victim as 56-year-old Mark Ersery.
According to investigators, Ersery was a passenger in a vehicle that unexpectedly crossed into the path of an oncoming SUV on State Highway 76 near Powersite. While both drivers sustained minor injuries, Ersery was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is currently under investigation.
