The Prince George’s County Police Department has provided new information regarding a tragic motorcycle accident that occurred on Sunday. Around 12:30 a.m. on October 27, officers responded to a scene on the 3400 block of Ritchie Marlboro Road, where two motorcycles and a cow were involved in a collision.
Upon arrival, first responders found 24-year-old Justin Crosby from Catonsville seriously injured on the roadside. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. A second motorcyclist was also discovered with non-life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary investigations by police indicate that Crosby and the other motorcyclist were heading north on Ritchie Marlboro Road when the second rider struck a cow that had wandered onto the road. While Crosby managed to avoid the cow, he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a guardrail. The cow did not survive the incident.
