A tragic multi-car accident on Thursday night claimed the lives of Haley Taylor, 27, and her 6-year-old daughter, Ava, in Richardson, Texas. The accident, which involved seven vehicles, took place shortly before midnight on the 3400 block of North Central Expressway, near the intersection with the George W. Bush Turnpike.
According to Richardson police, the incident began when a Lexus SUV, driven by Taylor, collided with a stalled Cadillac SUV in the southbound HOV lane. The impact triggered a chain reaction, involving a Dodge car, a Nissan, and an 18-wheeler. Debris from the collisions damaged two additional vehicles. In total, three people lost their lives, and seven more were injured.
Taylor’s family shared that she and her daughter were returning from Halloween festivities at the time of the crash. Both mother and daughter were rushed to the hospital, where they later died from their injuries.
