Fatal Bainbridge crash death of Payton Patterson – Obituary
Payton Patterson, 22, a 2020 graduate of North Putnam High School, tragically lost his life in a two-vehicle crash on November 7, 2024. The incident occurred shortly before 6 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 36 and County Road 25 East in Bainbridge. According to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, Patterson was driving northbound on County Road 25 East in his Ford F-150 when he pulled into the path of an eastbound Toyota Tacoma driven by Neil Burge. Patterson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. An investigation into the crash, assisted by the Indiana State Police, is ongoing.
