Fatal Myrtle Beach apartment shooting death of Rictavio Thompson – Obituary
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – A shooting at the Willow Run apartments on Monday night left one man dead and another injured. Authorities have identified the deceased victim as 24-year-old Rictavio Thompson, who succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds at the scene. Thompson, originally from the Bahamas, lived in the apartment where the shooting occurred at around 8:45 p.m. on Greens Blvd.
When police arrived, they found a man crouching over Thompson and several individuals inside the apartment. The police quickly escorted four people downstairs, where one man was treated for a gunshot wound to the torso. After entering the apartment, officers discovered Thompson’s body. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
