ST. BERNARD PARISH, LA — Louisiana State Police are seeking the public’s help after a hit-and-run collision early Monday killed 26-year-old motorcyclist Kyle St. Angelo of Saint Bernard. The crash occurred at approximately 3:15 a.m., involving St. Angelo’s 2004 Suzuki DRZ 400 motorcycle and a light-colored Ram pickup truck.
According to police, the pickup was traveling south on St. Bernard Highway and turned onto Riverbend Drive, colliding with St. Angelo’s motorcycle. The impact threw St. Angelo from his motorcycle, leading to fatal injuries. The driver of the Ram fled the scene without providing assistance or notifying law enforcement.
Investigators believe the suspect vehicle is a newer, light-colored Ram pickup truck with noticeable front passenger side damage. Police urge anyone with information to contact Louisiana State Police Troop B at (504) 471-2775. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the Louisiana State Police website. Authorities continue to gather details and encourage community vigilance to help locate the vehicle involved.
