Fatal Rutland County crash death of Macy Piersiak – Obituary
On the morning of Sunday, November 10, 2024, 17-year-old Macy Piersiak of Needham, Massachusetts, tragically lost her life in a car accident in Shrewsbury, Vermont. The Vermont State Police reported that Piersiak was traveling south on Cold River Road when she lost control of her vehicle, veering off the road and colliding head-on with a tree. Emergency responders from the Shrewsbury Fire Department, Rutland City Fire Department, and Regional Ambulance Service were on the scene, but Piersiak was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation, and authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Trooper Ryan Gardner.
