A tragic two-vehicle collision on Wyoming Highway 789 near Riverton on November 7, 2024, claimed the life of 39-year-old Sarah Adams, a Wyoming resident. The accident occurred just after 5:10 p.m. when a Buick slowed down to turn into a driveway, and the driver of a Chevrolet, traveling behind, failed to notice the vehicle’s deceleration and rear-ended it. The force of the impact caused both vehicles to become stuck and leave the roadway. Sarah Adams was killed in the crash, and four other individuals were injured and transported to a hospital for medical care. The Wyoming Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
