Mikhaela Kostas dies in fatal Hart County, Kentucky vehicle collision
Fatal Hart County, Kentucky vehicle collision death of Mikhaela Kostas – Obituary
On Saturday, November 9, 2024, Mikhaela Kostas, 24, of Hart County, Kentucky, tragically lost her life in a two-vehicle crash on Priceville Road. At approximately 6:49 p.m., Kostas was traveling eastbound when she attempted to pass other vehicles in the westbound lane, resulting in a collision with a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a juvenile. The crash occurred near 3770 Priceville Road.
Kostas was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hart County Coroner’s Office. The juvenile driver and two passengers in the Chevrolet Silverado were taken to Baptist Health in Elizabethtown with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities from the Kentucky State Police, Hart County Sheriff’s Office, EMS, and Fire Departments assisted in the investigation, which is ongoing under the direction of Trooper Landon Key.
