Apree Dontell Leak dies in fatal Charlotte, North Carolina shooting
Fatal Charlotte, North Carolina shooting death of Apree Dontell Leak – Obituary
Apree Dontell Leak, 22, was found shot early Tuesday morning in southwest Charlotte near the Ayrsley shopping center. Police were called to the Shell gas station on South Tryon Street around 3:30 a.m. and found Leak with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital but later died from his injuries, with his death being ruled a homicide by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.
Investigators have not confirmed where the shooting took place, though they are examining a black sedan in relation to the incident. No arrests have been made yet, and authorities continue their investigation.
