Fatal Huntsville, Alabama shooting death of Devante Centrell Dixon – Obituary
Devante Centrell Dixon, 24, tragically passed away from injuries sustained in a shooting on Meridian Street in Huntsville on October 12. Police responded to a gas station in the 3300 block of Meridian Street shortly after 10 p.m. when they found 22-year-old Damien Obrien Manning, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Dixon was later brought to Huntsville Hospital, where he died from his gunshot wounds on Sunday.
Authorities have charged five individuals with reckless murder in connection to the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing. More arrests are expected. Police encourage anyone with information to come forward.
