Fatal Elkhart County motorcycle crash death of Joseph Klein – Obituary
Joseph Klein, 61, from Wakarusa, tragically passed away following a collision with a Chevy Trax on Tuesday morning, November 12, 2024. The crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 17 and State Road 120, just outside of Elkhart. Authorities reported that the Chevy Trax was in the left turn lane and failed to yield to Klein’s northbound Kawasaki motorcycle, resulting in a head-on collision. Klein was transported to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Chevy Trax, a 29-year-old woman from Elkhart, was not injured and was cited for failing to yield the right of way and having no insurance. The investigation into the crash continues.
