Davie Gordon dies in fatal Grand River boat capsizing
Fatal Grand River boat capsizing death of Davie Gordon – Obituary.
Davie Gordon, 77, of Muskegon, tragically passed away on November 11, 2024, after the boat he was in capsized on the Grand River. Gordon, who was fishing with another man, fell into the river when a wave caused their aluminum jon boat to overturn.
The two fishermen clung to the boat until they were rescued by first responders. Despite CPR efforts, Gordon was pronounced dead at Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital.
Authorities have not yet released the cause of death. The fishermen were wearing life jackets at the time of the incident.
