Fatal Oldham County hit-and-run death of Margaret Preble – Obituary

A 75-year-old woman, Margaret Preble from La Grange, Kentucky, was tragically killed in a hit-and-run incident on Monday evening in Oldham County. Police responded to a call around 7 p.m. reporting an unresponsive woman found in a grassy area near U.S. 42, between KY 53 and Smith Lane.

 

Upon arrival, officers determined that Preble had been struck and killed by a vehicle that fled the scene. Authorities have not yet released any details about the driver or the vehicle involved. They are urging anyone with information to contact the Oldham County Police Department at 502-222-1300 or use their online portal.
