Fatal Nashville hit-and-run accident claims Bethany Doolittle – Obituary

Bethany Doolittle, 18, of Antioch, lost her life after being struck on Interstate 24 in Nashville on Monday night. According to Metro Nashville Police, the incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. on I-24 West near Bell Road when an unidentified vehicle hit Doolittle and left the scene.

 

Following the initial impact, other vehicles were also involved in the crash, though police believe these were secondary incidents after the first vehicle had already left. Doolittle was found deceased at the scene. Authorities are investigating the reason she was on the interstate and continue to search for the driver of the initial vehicle.
