Fatal Kansas City shooting claims the life of 16-year-old Andre Pride – Obituary
Police in Kansas City are investigating a homicide involving 16-year-old Andre Pride, who was killed in a shooting at an apartment complex on Wednesday evening. Authorities responded to the incident shortly after 6:30 p.m. in the 7500 block of E 85th Terrace, according to Officer Alayna Gonzalez with the Kansas City Police Department.
Officers arrived to find Pride lying unresponsive in a grassy area of the complex, suffering from gunshot wounds. Police and emergency medical personnel provided immediate medical aid before transporting him to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Initial reports suggest that a disturbance involving several individuals may have escalated to gunfire, resulting in Pride being shot. At this time, no arrests have been made, and police are working to identify any suspects involved in the tragic incident.
