Jeffrey Phillips dies in fatal Swan Valley crash
Fatal Swan Valley crash death of Jeffrey Phillips – Obituary
Jeffrey Phillips, a 53-year-old man from Victor, tragically lost his life early Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash near Swan Valley. The Bonneville County Coroner’s Office confirmed his identity.
According to Idaho State Police, the crash occurred around 1:15 a.m. on U.S. Highway 26, west of Swan Valley at milepost 368. Phillips was driving a 2003 GMC pickup eastbound when the vehicle left the road and collided with an embankment.
Phillips, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene due to blunt-force trauma. The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
