Fatal South LA shooting death of Lanai Ariyana Dees – Obituary
A tragic shooting occurred early Sunday morning in the Westmont area of unincorporated Los Angeles County, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Lanai Ariyana Dees. Deputies were called to the scene at 12:40 a.m. in the 2000 block of Century Boulevard, where they found the Los Angeles Police Department already responding to a traffic crash. The woman’s body was discovered inside a car that had crashed into a concrete foundation in an alley south of Century Boulevard and South Gramercy Place.
Despite attempts to provide aid, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are investigating the incident, and anyone with information is urged to contact the sheriff’s Homicide Bureau.
