Fatal El Paso pedestrian accident death of Siddharth Mukherjee – Obituary
A fatal pedestrian accident occurred in El Paso on Sunday night when 38-year-old Siddharth Mukherjee was struck and killed by a vehicle on I-10 East. The incident took place near the Zaragoza exit at 9:40 p.m.
According to police, a white Cadillac was traveling eastbound on the freeway when Mukherjee crossed the road directly in front of the vehicle. Despite the driver’s attempts to avoid the collision, Mukherjee was fatally struck.
Special Traffic Investigators were called to the scene to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash. Authorities indicated that the pedestrian’s presence on the roadway played a significant role in the incident. This tragedy marks the 61st traffic fatality in El Paso for the year, down from 71 last year.
