A tragic incident occurred Thursday evening in Hendricks County, where Benjamin Love, a 49-year-old from Lizton, was found deceased following an apparent tractor accident. Authorities responded around 7:30 p.m. on November 14 to the 4300 block of North State Road 75, just south of North Salem, after a witness made a concerning discovery. The witness noticed a tractor running with its headlights on but saw no one seated on it. Upon further investigation, the witness found Love unresponsive beneath the tractor. Emergency services were immediately contacted, but Love was pronounced dead at the scene.
Love was identified as the owner of the property where the incident took place. Both the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office and the Coroner’s Office are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident, though authorities have stated that there is no evidence of foul play. The sheriff’s office extended their condolences to Love’s family and friends during this difficult time.
