Fatal Cumberland County motorcycle crash death of Mangal S. Rai, 28 – Obituary
A fatal motorcycle accident occurred on Saturday morning in Hampden Township, Cumberland County, claiming the life of 28-year-old Mangal S. Rai. The incident took place around 6:45 a.m. on the ramp from Interstate 81 Southbound to Route 581 Eastbound. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Rai was traveling on the connecting ramp when he lost control of his motorcycle, veering onto the right shoulder and crashing into a metal guardrail. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Rai was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have since reopened the ramp after investigating the crash.
