The Asheboro Police Department reported the fatal shooting of 39-year-old David Matthew Davis, who was found dead inside the 64 Skillz gaming center on East Dixie Drive. Officers discovered Davis’s body around 7:30 a.m. on November 11.
Authorities revealed that suspects fled the scene after shooting Davis. The suspect vehicle is described as a gray 2013 Toyota Avalon with North Carolina license plate LAH-9992, though it may now display different plates. The vehicle also has visible damage to both rear bumper corners and the driver’s side rear quarter panel. It has been reported stolen.
Police urge anyone who spots this vehicle to immediately call 911 as the investigation into Davis’s death continues.
