Authorities have identified 18-year-old Lamar Lamount Davis of St. Paul as the victim of a deadly shooting in south Minneapolis on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Police responded to the incident at around 8:40 p.m. in the 2500 block of Ogema Place, where they found Davis suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts from first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner confirmed the cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds to his head. As of Wednesday, no arrests have been made, and limited details have been released regarding the circumstances of the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
