Fatal Augusta shooting death of Chavious Kimmerlin – Obituary
A man was found dead following a shooting in Augusta on Thursday morning, November 21, 2024. The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 500 block of Highland Avenue at around 7:13 a.m. after reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 50-year-old Chavious Kimmerlin, who had suffered at least one gunshot wound and was unresponsive. Despite efforts to assist, Kimmerlin was pronounced dead at the scene.
