Fatal Gallatin County crash death of Sarah Bingham – Obituary
A fatal crash involving a dump truck and two cars occurred on November 19, 2024, on U.S. Highway 42 in Gallatin County. Kentucky State Police report that a 2020 Mack dump truck was traveling east when it crossed the center line, striking a 2012 Honda Accord. The dump truck then collided with a 2022 Hyundai Venue. The driver of the Hyundai, 42-year-old Sarah Bingham of Florence, Kentucky, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the incident continues, though it has not yet been determined if charges will be filed against the driver of the dump truck. The case is being handled by Kentucky State Police Sergeant Jennifer Johnson.
