Evon Gibson dies in fatal Hibernia shooting
Fatal Hibernia shooting death of Evon Gibson – Obituary.
Evon Gibson, 45, was fatally shot in a violent gun attack at his home in Hibernia, northeast Manchester, on Wednesday night, November 27. The shooting took place around 9:30 p.m. when gunmen entered the house through a back entrance and attacked Gibson at the doorway. He was shot multiple times and collapsed at the scene.
Gibson’s cousin and his girlfriend were also wounded in the attack; the cousin was shot in the leg, and the girlfriend was struck in her upper body. Gibson was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the wounded victims were admitted for treatment.
Despite the terrifying ordeal, a 90-year-old woman, a teenager, and the teen’s mother, who were also present in the house, were unharmed. The police are continuing to investigate the incident.
