Jamar Calloway, 36, took his own life after fatally shooting his ex-girlfriend and her son on Thanksgiving morning.
Authorities report that Calloway shot 36-year-old Shendora Adams and her 19-year-old son, Tyiun Adams, before fleeing Georgia. He later arrived in Ocala, Florida, where he attempted suicide in a recreation center parking lot.
After confessing to his parents, Calloway shot himself in the head but died from his injuries around midnight.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is currently leading the investigation into the tragic event.
