Henrico County authorities have identified 25-year-old La Von Marquis Anderson as the man who died following a shooting on Brook Road on November 24, 2024. Police responded to a domestic-related incident in the 8500 block of Brook Road around 11:57 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found Anderson with gunshot wounds inside a room. They provided life-saving efforts until paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The incident has been reclassified as a homicide, and the Henrico Police Criminal Investigations Section is working to identify the suspect and uncover the events leading up to the shooting.
