Fatal Birmingham car crash claims the life of Suni Khan – Obituary
On the morning of Monday, November 25, 2024, 47-year-old Suni Khan of Birmingham lost his life in a single-vehicle crash along Wenonah-Oxmoor Road.
The tragic accident occurred around 6:25 a.m. as Khan’s sedan, heading eastbound, veered off the road, descended an embankment, and came to rest near the railroad tracks below. Emergency responders, including Birmingham police and fire crews, arrived to find Khan ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:16 a.m.
Officials quickly contacted CSX Railroad, halting an oncoming train just yards from the wreck. The investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing.
