A 17-year-old has been killed in a shooting that occurred Sunday evening on South Boulevard near the Archdale Drive light rail station. The incident took place just after 8 p.m., and the victim has been identified as Yexon Madrid Perdomo, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

 

At this time, authorities have not disclosed any details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting or any information about the shooter. Investigators are asking anyone with knowledge of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
