Fatal Bridgeton stabbing death of Rafael Morales-Domingo – Obituary
Rafael Morales-Domingo, the father of three, died on December 1, 2024, after being fatally stabbed in an altercation in his Bridgeton home.
The incident occurred around 6:55 p.m. when police responded to reports of a man screaming at a residence on Atlantic Street. Upon arrival, officers found Morales-Domingo dead on the front steps from a stab wound to his upper body.
Authorities arrested 27-year-old Wendy Perez, the victim’s partner and mother of his children, at the scene. Perez allegedly confessed to taking a kitchen knife from Morales-Domingo during a confrontation and stabbing him. Investigators found blood trails leading from the front step to the apartment, where they recovered the weapon used in the crime.
Perez is currently held without bail, facing charges of murder and weapons offenses. Three children were reportedly present in the home at the time of the attack but were unharmed.
