Paul E. Hines and Ronald D. Brotherton die in fatal Prosser home deaths

Fatal Prosser home deaths of Paul E. Hines and Ronald D. Brotherton – Obituary

Paul E. Hines, 55, and Ronald D. Brotherton, 63, were found dead inside a rural home near Prosser on December 3, 2024. The bodies were discovered by a roommate at 10 a.m. inside the manufactured home located at 103205 Old Inland Empire Highway. While Brotherton was a resident of the home, Hines was from Richland.

Benton County detectives have reported the presence of illegal drugs in the home but are still investigating whether they contributed to the men’s deaths. No signs of violence were found, and authorities are awaiting toxicology results before deciding if further autopsies are needed. The deaths are under investigation.
