Fatal Belgium, Wisconsin death of Benjamin Berendsen – Obituary

37-year-old Benjamin Berendsen, who had been missing from Green Bay, was found deceased on December 4, after an extensive search in the heavily wooded area near I-43 and Silver Beach Road in Ozaukee County. Berendsen had been reported missing after his vehicle was discovered abandoned on the I-43 shoulder on November 29.

Despite a multi-day search involving K9 units, drones, and foot searches, it was not until December 4 that authorities located his body in a remote, swampy area. The investigation into his death is ongoing.
