Fatal Nova Scotia homicide deaths of Kelly Trask, 32, and Tyler Meagher, 34 – Obituary

RCMP in Nova Scotia are investigating the deaths of Kelly Trask and Tyler Meagher as homicides after their bodies were discovered in a burnt-out vehicle in Greenhill on November 9, 2024.

Trask, 32, from Truro, N.S., and Meagher, 34, from Grand Prairie, Alberta, were identified by the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service after police conducted an investigation. The circumstances surrounding their deaths remain under investigation, with officials unable to release further details on the causes at this time.

The two victims were reportedly known to each other, although the nature of their relationship has not been disclosed. Meagher had family and friends in Nova Scotia, but the reason for his presence in the province is not yet clear.

RCMP officials continue to seek information from the community, particularly those in the Truro and Pictou areas, as they search for a motive and possible suspects. Authorities encourage anyone with information to come forward as the investigation progresses.
