A third victim of the mass shooting in Chicago’s Gage Park neighborhood has been identified. Authorities confirmed that Osmer Angel Ferrer Oria, 32, was among the eight people struck by gunfire on Monday afternoon. His exact address remains unknown.
The shooting took place around 2:10 p.m. near West 59th Street and South St. Louis Avenue, with the victims gathered inside a home at the 3500 block of West 59th Street. The other two fatalities, Jon Carlos Blancarcer, 28, and Hector Sajo, 26, were also among the eight people shot at the gathering.
The victims ranged in age from 20 to 35 years old. Police are still investigating the circumstances of the shooting and working to identify the suspects.
