David Beard dies in fatal Turlock pedestrian accident
Fatal Turlock pedestrian accident death of David Beard – Obituary.
David Beard, 63, of Turlock, was fatally struck by a pickup truck on Golden State Boulevard on Monday night. The incident occurred at approximately 7:36 p.m. when Beard ran from the west shoulder of the road directly into the path of an oncoming vehicle. The driver, 44-year-old Duraye Kinhoo of Turlock, immediately stopped and cooperated with authorities. Beard was transported to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The investigation by the California Highway Patrol indicated that Kinhoo was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and he was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the collision.
