Javon Gayton, 18, and J Tavian Howard, 23, were killed in a gunfight on Thanksgiving night in Fort Worth. Gayton died at the scene, while Howard was transported to the hospital where he later passed away from his injuries.
The shooting occurred around 9:45 p.m. in the 2800 block of Broadmoor Drive, where three people were found shot. The third victim was hospitalized for treatment. Investigations revealed that one of the men was in a vehicle when two suspects approached, leading to an exchange of gunfire. The unknown suspect fled on foot and remains at large. No arrests have been made, and the investigation continues.
