Fatal Woodward, Oklahoma shooting deaths of Christina Alewine and Gary Wayne Mulbery – Obituary
Christina Alewine, 42, and her father, Gary Wayne Mulbery, 81, lost their lives in a tragic shooting Wednesday night at the Walmart parking lot in Woodward, Oklahoma.
According to Woodward police, Christina was pronounced dead at the scene. Gary was airlifted to OU Health in Oklahoma City, but he succumbed to his injuries shortly afterward.
Authorities apprehended 30-year-old Shane Allison near the local high school, where he was found in possession of a handgun. He has been taken into custody and is facing charges of first-degree murder.
Investigators have not yet confirmed the relationship between the suspect and the victims. However, family members of Christina and Gary believe the shooting was not a random act. The investigation remains ongoing.
