Fatal Fort Worth shooting death of Jaylon Jeffery, 22 – Obituary

Authorities have confirmed the identity of a man fatally shot on Friday afternoon in Fort Worth as 22-year-old Jaylon Jeffery, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.

 

Police responded at 5:45 p.m. to a shooting on the 1600 block of Glasgow Road. Upon arrival, officers found Jeffery with a gunshot wound to his upper torso. Despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

Investigators revealed that the incident followed a heated verbal and physical dispute involving several individuals at the location. During the altercation, the suspect fired a single shot, striking Jeffery, before fleeing in a vehicle.

 

As of now, authorities have not announced any arrests in connection with the homicide. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
