Fatal Mahoning County car crash death of Kyle Soli – Obituary
Troopers from the Canfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are looking into a deadly single-vehicle crash that occurred Monday afternoon in Goshen Township, Mahoning County.
The incident took place around 4:28 p.m. on West Calla Road, west of Duck Creek Road. Authorities reported that 27-year-old Kyle Soli from Salem, Ohio, was driving a 2025 Tesla Model 3 when the car veered off the roadway. The vehicle struck a mailbox, then a ditch and a culvert, went airborne, collided with several trees, and overturned multiple times before landing on its wheels.
Soli, the only person in the car, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Emergency responders from Goshen Township Police, Fire, and EMS, along with Ellsworth Township EMS, provided assistance at the scene.
Preliminary investigations suggest alcohol may have contributed to the crash. Authorities from the Ohio State Highway Patrol are continuing their investigation and remind drivers to always wear seat belts and avoid driving under the influence, especially during the holiday season.
