Gregory Delacruz dies in fatal southeast Fresno stabbing

Gregory Delacruz dies in fatal southeast Fresno stabbing

Fatal southeast Fresno stabbing death of Gregory Delacruz – Obituary

A stabbing in southeast Fresno on December 7 has claimed the life of 46-year-old Gregory Delacruz. Authorities responded to a call reporting an assault near Fillmore and Jackson avenues just before 7 a.m. When officers arrived, they found Delacruz with multiple stab wounds and attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe the attack was not random, and Delacruz likely knew his attacker. Police have identified a suspect seen walking away from the scene, a Hispanic male in his mid-40s, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. Authorities are still seeking information from the public and reviewing nearby video footage in hopes of solving the case.
