Fatal Nashville multi-vehicle crash death of Steve Van Corum – Obituary

An Alabama man lost his life Tuesday in a multi-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck and an SUV on I-65 near Rosa Parks Boulevard in Nashville.

Steve Van Corum, 68, of New Hope, Alabama, was behind the wheel of his SUV when the incident occurred. Metro Police’s preliminary investigation suggests Corum was attempting to change lanes when he struck a semi-truck. Subsequently, his vehicle is believed to have veered back into the original lane, colliding with another SUV.

Corum sustained critical injuries and was transported to a hospital, where he later died that afternoon.
