Fatal west Oak Cliff shooting death of Xavien Minnitt – Obituary
Police are conducting an investigation into the death of 21-year-old Xavien Minnitt, who was found fatally shot Thursday night in west Oak Cliff.
Officers arrived at the 5800 block of Stretch Drive, near Sportsman Drive, shortly before 9 p.m. after responding to a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Minnitt lying on the ground outside, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet made an arrest in connection with the shooting.
The investigation remains active as police work to uncover further details.
