Karsten Gopinath dies in fatal West Los Angeles multi-vehicle crash

Karsten Gopinath, 53, tragically lost his life in a multi-vehicle collision in West Los Angeles on Thursday night. The incident occurred at approximately 7:35 p.m. at the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Centinela Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Gopinath was driving a Tesla westbound on Olympic Boulevard when his vehicle collided with another car making a left turn onto Centinela Avenue. The crash set off a chain reaction involving at least six other vehicles. Gopinath was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another individual sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital in stable condition. Authorities closed nearby streets for several hours as they investigated the scene.
