A late-night shooting in Northeast Washington, D.C., claimed the life of 23-year-old Mekhi Vaughn. Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 100 block of 33rd Street, Northeast, shortly after 11:00 p.m.
Vaughn, a resident of Northeast, D.C., was discovered at the scene with a gunshot wound. He was unresponsive when officers arrived, and DC Fire and EMS pronounced him dead.
