Fatal Christian County pedestrian accident death of Daquan Butler – Obituary
Daquan Butler, 29, tragically lost his life after being struck by a vehicle in Pembroke, Kentucky, early on December 14, 2024.
The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. when Butler was hit by a black car that fled the scene. Authorities later identified the driver as 33-year-old Eiesha B. Whitlock. During questioning, Whitlock admitted to hitting Butler with her vehicle, realizing he was trapped under the car, and backing over him before fleeing the area.
Butler was rushed to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Whitlock has been arrested and charged with second-degree manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident.
